Debut Atlantic is thrilled to welcome Erin Sparks as our new Program Officer! As the primary contact for artists, presenters, and educators through the tour planning process, Erin’s extensive experience as a musician, arts administrator, and artist representative will translate perfectly to her new role.

ERIN SPARKS, B. Mus., Art Dip., M. Mus.

Erin Sparks received her Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Toronto where she studied under the tutelage of Dr. Darryl Edwards. Prior to her masters, Erin completed an Artist Diploma at the University of Toronto and received a Bachelor of Music from Dalhousie University.

Erin has worked as an administrator for the Centre for Opera Studies in Italy and as manager for Darryl Edwards’ Concert Opera Group. She has also worked with the VIVA! Youth Choirs, Heather Young & Assoc. and as administrator for various artists and ensembles. In 2008, Erin was hired as a full-time Artist Representative with Andew Kwan Artists Management Inc. and in 2011 received the award of Emerging Agent of the Year from the Ontario Contact organisation. Having returned to Nova Scotia, Erin is delighted to join Debut Atlantic as Program Officer and looks forward to contributing to Atlantic Canada’s  artistic culture.
