“I toured before cell phones were readily available. I felt a mixture of thrill, fear and panic driving myself, solo artist, from place to place. The adventure of it was amazing except for one particular evening drive in the rain to Antigonish when I unexpectedly ran over a dead deer on the road … the cats were very interested in the car the next morning. Another wonderful animal memory – flying in to Labrador City and seeing a huge herd of caribou from the cockpit of the airplane (when pilots still allowed guests to share the view with them). So many of them and astonishing to view from above …  and on arrival drinking the best water ever in Labrador City.

I have many happy memories of my tour – each place was so alive for me. The people and audiences so warm and open to the music I was performing. A very generous feeling at each location – I LOVED IT!”
