“While on the road driving through New Brunswick with Renee (the double bass player) I told him that while growing up and learning to drive in Cape Breton, we called not completely stopping at a stop sign a “Quebec Stop”. I learned from Renee that, in Quebec, this was called an “American Stop”. I often tell that to people. It is a funny memory to have, but sticks in my mind.
Another memory was performing in the Dartmouth concert series. It was a marvelous experience because the audience was so very receptive to the songs and we felt very welcome at the reception afterwards.”
