Passionate and accomplished pianist to tour communities in NS, NB, PE!
Todd Yaniw, two-time national winner of the Canadian Music Competition, will tour Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island from February 8th to February 15th.
His concert program features pillars from the piano repertoire including Beethoven’s “Appassionata” Op. 57 and Rachmaninov’s Piano Sonata No. 2 in B flat minor. This concert tour also features a work by Canadian composer Denis Gougeon.
Receiving his ARCT Diploma with the Royal Conservatory of Music shortly after his 12th birthday, Yaniw has concertized in several countries including Canada, Jamaica, England, Monaco and the United States of America. He made his orchestral debut with the Edmonton Symphony at age 13 and has performed with a number of other orchestras.
Todd holds Performance and Artist Diplomas from the Royal Conservatory of Music and recently completed a Master’s Degree at Rice University studying with acclaimed Canadian-pianist Dr. Jon Kimura Parker, Debut Atlantic Alumnus from 1981.
